FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of railings are compatible with Barcony?

Barcony is designed to work with many balcony and terrace railing systems, including metal, wood, and certain glass railing configurations. Before installation, always verify that the railing is structurally sound, stable, and capable of supporting the intended load.

Can I install Barcony on a glass railing?

Yes, provided the railing includes a structural vertical element such as a post, mullion, or frame member that can support the stabilizing bar.
The suction cups are intended only to assist with leveling and horizontal adjustment. They are not designed to support the weight of the product or any objects placed on it.
For safety, the stabilizing bar must always transfer the load to a structural component rather than directly to the glass panel.

Do the suction cups support the weight of the table?
No.
The suction cups are not load-bearing components. Their purpose is to help level and stabilize the tabletop during installation.
The weight of the product and its contents must be transferred through the railing structure and stabilizing bar.

How much weight can Barcony hold?

Barcony is designed for everyday items such as drinks, meals, laptops, books, and decorative accessories.
It is not intended to support the weight of people, pets, exercise equipment, or unusually heavy objects.
Always distribute weight evenly across the surface and use common sense when loading the product.

Can I sit, stand, or lean on Barcony?

No.
Barcony is not designed as a seat, step, ladder, guardrail, or fall-protection device.
Never sit, stand, climb, jump, or place your full body weight on the product.

Is Barcony safe for homes with children?

Barcony can be safely enjoyed in family environments when proper precautions are taken.
Because the product is installed on a balcony or terrace railing, parents and guardians should ensure that children do not climb on the product and should avoid placing chairs, stools, benches, storage boxes, toys, or other climbable objects nearby.
Children should always be supervised around balconies and elevated outdoor spaces.

Can Barcony be left outdoors year-round?

Barcony is designed for outdoor use and is constructed from high-quality materials suitable for exterior environments.
To maximize longevity, we recommend protecting the product from prolonged exposure to severe weather and applying periodic maintenance treatments as needed.

How do I maintain my Barcony?

For routine cleaning, simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
To preserve the beauty of the wood, we recommend periodic application of Beeswax or a suitable wood conditioning product.
Avoid placing extremely hot or cold items directly on the surface and use coasters or placemats whenever possible.

Can I remove Barcony when not in use?

Absolutely.
Barcony is designed to be easy to mount and remove, making seasonal storage and weather protection simple and convenient.

Do I need professional installation?

Most customers can install Barcony themselves using basic tools and the provided instructions.
However, if you are unsure about the condition of your railing or the suitability of your installation location, we recommend consulting a qualified contractor or building professional before use.

How do I know if my railing is suitable?

The user is responsible for determining whether the railing and supporting structure are stable, structurally sound, and appropriate for the intended use.
Do not install Barcony on damaged, loose, deteriorated, weakened, or unstable railings.
If you have any doubts regarding the condition or strength of your railing, consult a qualified professional before installation.
